Moke Rental At A glance

Delivery: We offer delivery right to your door in downtown Wilmington for just $50. Your Moke will arrive on a trailer, fully charged and ready to cruise; good for up to 40 miles of coastal exploring!

Cruise Smart & Stay Safe: Mokes are made for relaxed, low-speed exploring; please keep it that way! Stick to roads with speed limits of 35 MPH or less, and while you can cross roads marked 45 MPH, driving on them is not allowed.

Important:

  • Do not cross or approach the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge or the Isabelle Holmes Bridge.
  • Mokes seat a maximum of 4 passengers, no exceptions. Exceeding the limit ends your rental immediately.
  • No smoking in or around the Moke. Any damage will result in full seat replacement charges.
  • No alcohol or open containers while driving. NC driving laws apply.
  • No high-speed turns, off-roading, or reckless driving. This ride’s about chill, not thrills.

Easy Returns: When your rental ends, we’ll come pick up the Moke; no need to be there! Just plug it in overnight so it’s charged before pickup day. When you’re done, leave the key in the lockbox inside the Moke and you’re all set. Easy, breezy checkout.

Mokes typically top out at around 25 miles per hour. They’re built for laid-back coastal cruising, not highway driving.

You can drive your Moke on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or below, which includes most of downtown Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach,  and certain areas throughout Topsail, Southport, and Oak Island. Our fully charged Mokes can run up to 40 miles on a single charge, which is more than enough for a full day of cruising.

Mokes can be parked in any standard vehicle space, and they’re small enough to fit in tight beach town spots. Just be sure to follow all posted parking regulations—meters, permits, and time limits still apply.
